Many construction and geotechnical projects also require environmental expertise to deal with the environmental impact of these projects, such as soil and water testing, environmental property assessments (Phase I and Phase II), regulatory issues, industrial hygiene, and expert testimony. Combining environmental services with construction and geotechnical services is a difficult challenge, and few if any companies can provide such a wide variety of services to their clients.

At Independent Testing Laboratories, we have provided this combination of services for over 30 years, ensuring that our clients get the full benefit of our experience and professionalism. Our clients do not have to search for two companies for their projects and then hope that the two will work well together; we can do it all!

We have provided these services to a large number of Federal, State, City and County Government agencies, as well as to numerous private clients. In addition to quality test reports, we provide timely analysis to ensure that our clients meet their regulatory obligations.

We hold several laboratory accreditations for environmental monitoring including the following: New York State Department of Health Environmental Laboratory Approval Program for Environmental Monitoring; National Lead Laboratory Accreditation Program for Lead in Paint, Soil and Wipes.

We perform all sampling and analysis in accordance with EPA and OSHA requirements, using professionally trained and certified personnel. Complete chain-of-custody documentation is provided for all samples to ensure the legal validity of our client’s test results.
